Jean Kirschstein is a dork. The kind of kid who uses three cans of Axe every morning as if it'd hide the stupid haircut and the acne. Despite all of this, Marco Bodt had always loved him anyways. Come freshmen year, the tables have turned. Now Jean is sinfully attractive, and Marco's job of concealing his desire for him grows harder. Could a year bring them closer together, or farther than Marco would like?

He was outspoken, pessimistic, and annoyingly honest. She was strange, careless, and a bit unorthodox. But, they both had a common intent: staying alive.
