The morning after Levi's best friend drags him to the ocean, Levi awakens with a horrible, wrenching pain in his gut. He had no idea why or what exactly his dream was about (he had some fuzzy recollections of the less important parts) but he did know that it didn't end well. The horrid, scratchy feeling in his throat and the sudden fear made Levi's body feel like it was being torn apart, a feeling he'd never experienced before. It was horrible; painful, and the moment Levi had sat up, he knew exactly why everything hurt. And that morning, the storm outside rattling against the sides of the house familiarly, Levi did something he'd never done before. He bent over, stuffing his head in his hands, and then he began to cry.

To make things short, this is one of the many corny JeanMarco Coffee Shop AUs, but "Name" is just my own take on how things sort of went down that day at Starbucks. My fic was also read aloud by ask-marco-bodts-voice on tumblr, so I suggest you go give it a listen because he's my headcanon voice for Marco. The title of this story is mildly based off of the Goo Goo Dolls' smash hit which sort of gave me the idea for the actual plot of this fic. Thank you, Johnny Rzeznik. "Name" is prone to be a bit goofy at times because I'm a goober and I can't resist. Plus, it features French Jean Kirschtein. You might know this story as one of the many Coffee Shop AU spinoffs, or you might know it as the one in which two dudes' hearts are irreversibly entwined by something way beyond their control from a time much earlier. In other words, yes, the story of Jean and Marco will go much further than just cheesy romance in a modern café. They go way back. I'm really bored and Jean is my favorite character and fun to write as, so here we are.

Moving to a new high school with her sister, Ymir becomes infatuated with Krista Lenz for her own mysterious intentions. Krista is confused at the sudden attention of the taller, freckled girl and shocked when Ymir sees through her Goddess of Mercy act. Simultaneously, Seiba gets herself mixed up in a love triangle with the most popular boy in school and the kindest. But both the orphaned girls still try to keep their distance from the others around them, knowing that in a heartbeat they will have to leave for another town and high school because of their 'father's' job. But what happens when both emotionless and numb girls make ties and bonds for the first time? And how will they react when their past come back and kick them in the arse? This is a modern AU of Attack on Titan so there won't be much Titans or stuff like that. Also this contents my OCs from A Fool's Bravery so the focus isn't just on YumiKuri. Just so you know.
