Little did she know, not only was the factory not abandoned, but the inhabitants aren't exactly keen on having visitors... As she makes her way deeper and deeper into the factory, she'll not only find out what happened all those'd years ago, but also the horrors that Playtime Co. committed. After all, lies can only stay buried for so long. Whatever it is that Alexa gets put through, she has a simple goal in mind. Nobody has to die. Like in the regular game, you're an Ex-employe of Platime Co. returning to the old factory after everyone disappeared 10 years prior. After receiving a mysterious letter from a man that they never heard off, the circus gang have been invited to visit the playtime co toy factory, a place that they never been to before, Not even Caine knew about this place until now. But after watching a VHS tape a set of doors mysteriously appear leading to the factory, but after going through them the doors disappear leaving them trapped within the factory's walls. Now trapped within the factory, things take a dark turn as they must work together to salve puzzles, fend off the monsters lurking in the shadows, escape the factory, and maybe find the truth of what really happened here.

In 1989, when Y/n L/n finally scored a job as a "Playcare caretaker assistant" at the infamous toy company Playtime co., they made it their mission to make sure every child at Playtimes orphanage got the care they deserved before sending them out to the warm embrace of a new family. Half a year swept by like it were a mere few days, but to Y/n and the children they took care of, those days were filled with hours of building trust, joyous laughter, and fun. However, Y/n slowly started suspecting what the company was so determined to hide, which resulted in Leith Pierre firing them before they got too far. Ten years later, Y/n received a strange letter in front of their doorstep with disheveled handwriting saying: "Everyone thinks the staff disappeared 10 years ago. We're still here. Find the flower."

Receiving a note and a VHS Tape regarding a certain abandoned toy factory, Chronos Mysteries Agency co-founders Aeon and Mumbly travel to August, 2005 to investigate. Joining an ex-employee who came to the factory on their own reasons, the duo travel through the factory, learning what happened on the way through the factory. However, as they distinguish the difference between allies and enemies, the bigger question remains: what happened to the children during the Hour of Joy? And can any of the experiments be saved, or are they doomed to perish for something out of their control?

I was inspired by Chapter 5 of Poppy Playtime to make this story (specifically the memories). The book will take the POVs of the many children turned into monsters and end with The Hour of Joy (With a possible epilogue). I hope you enjoy it!
