"Because that's the way it's meant to be.." The year is 2009. Two years after their brief reunion, the Palmtop Tiger and her destined partner are still split apart. Faced with overwhelming stress and mounting failures, Kitamura must make a choice, and he must do it soon. In contrast, Minori Kushieda appears to be soaring. As the new captain for the Rikkai University Softball Team, her schedule is jam-packed. To outsiders, she has left Ohashi behind and works extremely hard for her blessings, but they don't know the real her. In reality, she's the girl that still thinks about her old friends all the time; her old life, feelings, and paralyzing emotions that keep bubbling back when she least expects it. Ami Kawashima continues to be one step ahead. After graduation, she quickly returned to modeling, albeit with newfound confidence and less tolerance for arrogance. Her personal brand soars, with new brand deals left and right, an agent that works tirelessly for her, and a bursting bank account. But even so- she has fond memories of her old friends, and she's honestly quite bored. Spring is coming again. Whatever happens- that's the way it's meant to be.

Motoyasu was ordered by no other than Malty to go against the shield 'devil' and to slay the devil himself. Motoyasu took the offer- ready to pierce Naofumi and take away his life. He made his way to a very familiar village... And he found himself struggling as he stood in front of the raven- having a perfect opportunity to kill him. I literally gave up on my last fanfiction, and I literally have Motofumi fanfictions taking over my google docs, so I suppose- I literally write about these two all the time- I have no clue what it is about them--- Also, I have seen almost every story of these two on AO3, wattpad so... :) (Aka I need to make more content)

Hello everyone! This is a cannon of what could have happened if Naofumi reacted differently than he did and what the outcome would be. This is after the difference, but maybe you'll see some difference in the story itself. It's not YAOI (Boy Love). Also, Naofumi's past is a little changed by me. Hope you'll like it! WARNING: There will be cursing here and mention of heavy bullying, bordering on murder.

You grew up in the same town as Yusaku Kitamura and Ami Kawashima, those two being your best friends throughout elementary school. Your dad was a delinquent and abandoned you and your mother when you were in Middle School, this left your mother to raise you by herself. Your mom, to keep up appearances, had you lie to everyone, telling everyone that your dad was dead instead of him abandoning you. To make sure no one could contradict your lies, you moved away from your hometown, a fresh start. You didn't like lying about it but you did it anyway for your mother. Because of the constant lying you had to do, you started being filled with anger and started to act up at home while pretending to be the good son at school. This especially showed after your mother married another person who you didn't like. As a way to get out some anger, you joined the baseball team at your school. The last year of middle school was spent with you trying to convince your mom to let you go to a school far away from where she was living so that you could just get away from her. Surprisingly, she agreed and got you an apartment fairly close to the school. The school also happened to be in your hometown, so, bonus points. Highschool came along and you stopped acting like a good boy and started showing your true colors. Among the students at your school, you're in the top 3 of most feared. His competition includes Ryuuji Takasu who you become friends with thanks to Yusaku introducing the two of you. Your other competition is Taiga Aisaka AKA The Palm Top Tiger. She's a small girl infamous for her short fuse. You've seen her in the apartment building and around school but you never met here. However, your paths are destined to cross. Toradora! characters owned by the creators of Toradora!

WARNINGS!: Murder, attempted murder, mentions of cutting, kidnapping and strong language! . . . . Motoyasu is ordered to kill no other than Naofumi by Myne, who is hateful for how successful Naofumi is growing. Motoyasu doesn't hesitate to agree and begins his journey to assassinate the shield devil. Before long he finds Naofumi and is unable to kill him. This leads to a conflict with his feelings, and a special message to the king of Melromarc if he can't kill Naofumi. (Also being posted on AO3)

Taiga is hiding her hurt, Ryuuji doesn't know what's wrong. Until one day everything breaks.

Bernard Shihai has lived with his grandfather; Jin Shihai for most of his life. Bernard was always avoided by other people, for reasons outside of his control. His large and intimidating physique earned him the title; The Bear. Because of this Bernard spent most of his days alone, either baking, gardening, working out or playing with his dog; Koki. Bernard's life however, is turned upside down when he becomes friends with Ryuuji Takasu, another student mistaken as a delinquent and has to help him assist their tiny, short fused classmate; Taiga Aisaka. But, there are many obstacles between the two's relationship. Will fait bring Naofumi and Motoyasu together, or tear apart their relationship? Read the story to find out. Just a little story about what happened after Taiga came back from her year away from Ryuuji and her friends. Because I found the original ending sucked and left me wanting more. Starts off right before the series ends where Ryuuji and the others are graduating. Started: 29th May 2019 Ended:
