Det er noen som alltid har holdt øye med henne. En skygge. En mørk beskytter. I kroken av øyet får hun alltid et glimt, men aldri stort mer. Evy trodde hun hadde akseptert at det var det skyggen alltid kom til å forbli. Hun hadde overbevist seg selv om at hun ikke brydde seg noe lenger om at noen holdt øye med henne, eller hvorfor.
