My stomach twists instantly. "Again..?" Nick murmurs. The room is lightened with torches, the ones you see in movies, that people use to light castles and palaces. There's a stone platform in the middle. Bloody. But old enough not to drip. . . . . . This story is purely fictional and comes from imagination. Any resemblance to real people, places, or events is completely coincidental. This book includes some darker themes that might not be comfortable for everyone, such as: Orphanage setting and unfair treatment Mentions of blood and blood-related practices Emotional distress, fear, and survival situations Mystery and slightly eerie environments some scenes can feel intense or unsettling.
