When Y/N (or if you play animal crossing, your username) moves to town, their first thought wouldn't be that they would become the mayor. When they do hear this, they initially are very excited! But when something bad happens while taking the role as the mayor, things take a turn for the worst. And of course, I do not own Animal Crossing. This story is for entertainment purposes only. Also I am very sorry if there is a story out there similar or very close to what I made. This is just a random idea I thought of, and I didn't see yours.

2024 EDIT: WARNING! I wrote this thing in 2020, so it's quite cringeworthy. Although I doubt anyone would read this now. But if you do stumble upon this, prepare yourself. These are the steps on how to become addicted to a wholesome game about fishing and catching bugs! Some points I wrote down are total jokes. So don't take this book too seriously! A couple of years have passed since Ai has moved into Animal Village, a quaint little town filled with animal residents, such as Tom Nook, Mr. Resetti, the Able Sisters, Alfonso, Rosie, and so many more. She has enjoyed life there, thinking there is no other better place in the world. She's the only human who lives there (with the exception of Yu, the boy from the other village who comes to play every day, so it's almost like he lives there). Life seems pretty predictable. That is, until one day, three new villagers move into town. But these aren't animals. They're... kids? Who are these people? And what new adventures will there be? There's only one way to find out... ............................................................................ This is just an idea that I've had for a while; it's a follow-up to the Animal Crossing anime movie released in 2006 and is meant to be written like a TV series. As such, all events happening in this fan-fiction will take place straight after the events in the movie/ACCF/ACWW, so events that happen in New Leaf and Animal Crossing: New Horizons will not be covered...yet.
