This is my first story, so don't judge pls. English is not my first language so there might be grammar mistakes. None of this characters are mine! I'm just writing what I wish happened after the books/ tv show ended. The theory's about Quigley's and Duncan's old selfs are mine.

Quigley Quagmire was reunited with his siblings, but he wants to be with Violet Baudelaire, the one that haunts his dreams, the one he loves, and his brother is convinced that they are in love. Violet Baudelaire sailed onto Briny Beach, with one mission in mind, to find Quigley. But once Esme realizes she's back, I am sad to say, she did not get reunited in a happy setting with Quigley Quagmire. Because that's not how the story goes.

This fan fiction is about the Baudelaires and Quagmires meeting at Prufrock Prepatory School and instead of the Baudelaires facing all the treacherous villainy from Count Olaf alone they all get through it together. This story starts from the day they meet at Prufrock Prep until how long I decide to be bothered to write this story. It also features tons of Dunclet and a bit of Kladora. Hope you enjoy 😊

"Shh, don't cry, Sabine," Quigley whispered in her ear. "It's okay, don't cry." His hand slid down her arm, then gently landed in her palm. He slowly spread his fingers out, then carefully entwined them with hers, as if he were savoring every sweet touch. He nuzzled his nose behind her ear and inhaled deeply, then let it out. His warm breath on her skin made her shiver and she felt her cheeks heat up. His free hand found her waist and rested there, making her shiver again. "I've got you, my dear," he said softly, nuzzling behind her ear once more. "You're safe. My name is Isadora Quagmire and I am going to tell you a story. It will not be a happy story, it is a sad and melancholy story. This is how I didn't escape onto Hector's Self Sustaining Hot Air Mobile Home. This is how I was captured by a wicked Count again and again. This is my story.

Do you remember the few minutes during The Ersatz Elevator, when everyone thought that it would be the final showdown? That everything was going to be resolved that Very Fine Day? It wasn't the first or the last time that V.F.D. hoped for a happy ending at the end of the book (or episode). But what if it was? What if Count Olaf really was captured, and the Quagmires saved? This is a story that starts partway through The Ersatz Elevator. The first few chapters will likely all happen within a timespan of a few days, but after that the chapters will be more like short stories, spaced out over the course of the years, as each character gets their happily ever after. Note: Many of the details may be based of off the series. I am sorry for this, but I rewatched the Netflix series very recently so it is freshest in my memory. *I do not own any part of A Series of Unfortunate Events*
