Odwróciłam w końcu znudzona głowę, bojąc się cokolwiek powiedzieć. Jednak niespodziewanie poczułam dotyk czyjejś szorstkiej łapy na swojej kończynie. Serce zabiło mocniej, oddech przyspieszył, a w głowie powstał jeden wielki chaos, gdy Scourge spojrzał na mnie szybko, odsuwając się nieco zażenowany. *Z perspektywy Scourge'a* Rozmyślałem nad przyszłą wędrówką i sprawami klanu, obserwując zachodzące słońce. Czułem obok siebie obecność młodej motki. Jej zapach docierał z zachodnim wiatrem do moich nozdrzy, kojąc przyjemnie codzienny przymus wdychania woni krwi. Choć przyznam, że niezbyt mi to przeszkadzało. Ocknąłem się dopiero, gdy poczułem, że moja lewa poduszeczka natknęła się na coś wyjątkowo miękkiego i puszystego w dotyku. Zażenowany, spojrzałem gwałtownie w dół i cofnąłem natychmiast łapę, widząc zarazem nieodgadniony wyraz pyska Venus. Czemu musiałem natrafić akurat na jej łapę??? Co za niezręczna sytuacja... A przecież chciałem tylko przestawić zdrętwiałą kończynę centymetr dalej...''
