She tries to get to know him and help him but she soon realises that he doesn't care about her and thinks she's a big part of the reason why he was put there in the first place. Eventually they manage to escape and Desiree tries to flee leaving Kai and the rest of the clan drama behind. Her only want is to finally go after the thing she wanted most to be reunited with her sister. Kai soon ruins the plans by planning something so sinister she decided to head back to mystic Falls to try and stop him. Getting wrapped up in his plot she ended up dying along with the rest of the clan. She thought she was gone for good finally until she woke up in transition just like Kai did. Eventually things lead her to a beautiful place called new Orleans where she is about to have even more adventure enter her life. ~~~~~~~~×××××~~~~~~~~~~
