David Joseph Watkins was born the only son of the singular, influential, and well-known priest of the small town of Zionsville, Indiana. All his life he hid a secret from his family, an unforgivable sin. A sin condemned not only by the people he held dear but by the society around him-forbidden by the laws of the land he lived in, forbidden by societal and familial pressures. Once the truth came out along with him, his life became a true hell on earth-the judgement day of which his father fervently preached. Thrown among the hail of gunfire and scattering of shrapnel, Dave was shipped off to the A Shau Valley in the Mountain of the Crouching Beast-where he would meet someone who would change his life forever-and see him to the end. Between the battle of war and the battle of love and loss-will he ever find peace?

The Umbrella Academy is sixteen years old. They are still going on missions, along with rigorous training. The Umbrella Academy, on top of all of that, are going through the 'normal' Highschool drama. But what can be normal in a family of Superhero-Celebrities? *I really suck at writing descriptions, so please just continue reading, I promise, it's worth it. I think this story is turning out really well! Just please continue!! Thanks!* **Warnings: Swearing, Drugs, Alcohol. Not super bad, but is mentioned often** ***The plot is mine, the majority of the characters are not, sadly. xD*** ****Everything that happens in the TV show does not happen, and the plot is mine, characters are not. Although, I'm going to bring Dave back because Dave is awesome.****

What did Klaus Hargreeves really have to go though in that year in Vietnam.
