After the cessation of Kuruk, a Knight of Ren, Snoke saw it absolutely necessary to keep Kylo Ren at full staff in his legional servitude of knights. His solution was found in a humble officer, whom had shown full allegiance to the first order throughout her entire life, Lanza Ren. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. A title he never thought he would possess. But Snoke had to die. The constant whispers, the constant "punishments" day in, day out. But now... now it was calm and quiet. The only whispers he could now hear were of the Force. And the only punishment he received was of the bond.

(Book 3) Kylo Ren is assumed dead by the First Order and Knights of Ren after the malfunction sent him and Zeh Skurn to the Hoth System. The two have been there for only a month but each day feels like a year as they struggle to find enough food to survive the cold, harsh, environment. Skurn has managed to hold onto life despite the odds and is finally well enough to travel, if they could find a way to get off the cold desolate world. The First Order will strike again and he would need to make sure his side was ready before that happened. But is his plans really what the Resistance wants? Or has Alder managed to fool his closest friends: Rey, Finn, and Poe into doing something they might regret. Will this spell the end of the Resistance and the First Order's victory, or will it give rise to a brand new rein?

It also doesn't help that there is a forbidden romance that starts to blossom between Hazel and a certain old friend of hers.What happens when Hazel comes face to face with the one man who she believes has the answers she seeks?
