Honour is not always born of riches and noble birth. Power is not always given to those entitled to it. Heroes are not always knights in shining armour, or rescuers of fair maidens, and not all have their names etched into history. Some merely fade away.
Of all the legends, one speaks of the once and future king. A table round and fair. Protectors clad in silver and steel, to defend the helpless and use their sword to uphold the weak. However, some tales were lost to time during the era of Albion. One told the story of a man, clad in blackened iron as dark as the ebon void. Estranged by those he once knew, and feared by the sight of what they perceived as a monster. Though, not everything is ever as it seems. This is the tale of a man, seen as a monster, who would defend the realm from the darkest of forces.
