We don't know much about her except her name and her relations with the so called Mahabharata characters. She was always remembered along with her adharmi brothers and adharmi husband. " Women are the ones who carries the tradition and sow the seeds of dharma and adharma on this land of great civilization" ----Duhshala So...left all those parts in the the original Mahabharata stories ... Here we are going to see her as herself ..how was she back in those times , how was her thoughts , who she would have ever fallen in love with... [ This story is fictional , it is not related with the original Mahabharata , And so it is not going to harm anything ] Here Duhshala is going to fall in love with krishna (because i personally think it would be natural and much more timely) .
