Shadow is a popular idol really know in mobius and really adored. Shadow hate his life as an idol and wish for a normal life. Knuckles is a loner, with only duty of protecting the Master Emerald. He mostly stay on Angel Island and is not really fan of going on partys. But one day as Sonic and his friends drag Knuckles to one of Shadow's concert. Both of their life was about to change when Shadow moved on the same school as Knuckles

An Accident happened between Sonic and his friends and Eggman, a explosion happened but when they recovered they noticed...Knuckles is nowhere to be found. (This story is inspired by another story in Ao3, it's very interesting and inspiring. Go and read it, it's called "Butterfly Effect")

Shadow, Sonic, Amy, Tails grow concerned for Knuckles as he becomes overly stressed from life. So after getting a stern talking from his father Knuckles agrees to get away from everything for a week. To his surprise sonic had found a lake mansion that would be perfect for the occasion and they all pack up and go. Yet once they arrived the mansion was nothing like in the brochure yet knuvkles found it calming and they decided to stay. Little do they know it's all a ghostly plot for Knuckles to arrive at the mansion.

Sonic and Friends decides to take a holiday trip to a old mansion after Knuckles collapses at work from being over stressed. Shadow, Knuckles's fiance is on board with the trip since he worried about his love's health. Yet when they arrive they'll the discover a dark secret and unfortunately for Knuckles he will be the center of it all.
