Humanity is as good as gone. Only a few survivors are left and hiding. Melody lives alone, trying to blend in with with body snatchers. She and her companion, her brother Matthew, are trying everything to survive all the while living in constant danger. However, after a horrible incident Melody meets the O'Shea brothers. Even though, both parties distrust each other they continue their journey together in hopes of finding a stable place. Meanwhile everyone in the group has to fight their own demons and get past their differences to ensure survival. I want to dedicate this story to very special person I had to lose recently. He never got to read this but he always supported me and my writing.

Johnny Johnnerson has always been bullied at school because of his name. He hates his parents, who gave him his name, his so called "friends" Harold and Frank who use him to keep their grades up, and his older sister, Sally, who suggested the name in the first place. Johnny can't wait for summer when he doesn't have to see his bullies at school anymore, until his parents announce their vacation to Australia. Johnny doesn't want to go at first- but then he discovers he has the ability to understand koalas. Every morning, I would play on the playground, and she was arrive with both her parents, and her baby pug batman, complete with a leash and collar that matched his name.
