A face that speaks only of innocence and youth appears one day in the hall of Jorvaskr. Kodlak Whitemane judges her soul to be sound, and accepts her offer of joining the companions. She slowly rises in their ranks, and becomes one of the youngest in the circle. When a stranger to only her comes knocking on the companions door, a shocking reveal is hung on her shoulders. Who is the mysterious man of whom is claiming the impossible? And how is he alive?

Verana is the daughter of Kodlak Whitemane. Verana has been a companion since as long as she can remember. But when a certain ginger haired thief makes his way into the hall on a seemingly failed heist, Verana- who has never been anywhere past Helgen, decides to join the ginger on his quest across Skyrim. The only question is, how long can she be away without any of the other companions, especially those in the Inner Circle finding her?

In this story, Aela is a 14 year old girl who is still training to make her family proud by joining the companions. However, one day a boy stumbles in, and this boy will change her life more than she had ever thought possible.
