Teaming up with an adventurer named Kimiyo and her reindeer, Sumi, Prince Asahi searches for his brother, Eichi, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

Long ago in the Digital World, a crisis occurred that almost destroyed it. However, a group of ten Digimon, called the Ten Legendary Warriors, sacrificed themselves to save the Digital World. Peace soon followed due to the government by three Celestial Digimon. However, this did not last forever, as Cherubimon, one of the three Celestial Digimon, shattered the peace and declared war. There was hope, though, as the spirits of the Ten Legendary Warriors were to be reincarnated to save the endangered Digital World once more. Complete strangers to each other Takuya Kanabara, JP Shibayama, Koji Minamoto, Zoe Orimoto, Tommy Himi, Koichi Kimura and Rei Mizuko receive a mysterious message on their cell phones prompting them to rendezvous at the train station. This chance encounter soon lands them into a new world where they find themselves as the recipients of the reincarnated spirits and now face the task of saving the Digital World. With the war against Lucemon over, the Legendary Warriors have returned to Earth, waiting for the gate to the Digital World to open once more. However, when they return, they find that the fall of the Celestial Three has left a power vacuum in the realm's central structures, leading to chaos in what should have been a time of peace. The party is forced to grapple with their new positions in the regenerated world, including moderating politics between opposing leaders. Meanwhile, the Digital World has left its mark on all of them, leaving them with the side effects of becoming Digimon imprinted on both their bodies and minds. From the cacophony, a new mysterious Digimon by the name of Miriamon rises, and her reflective eyes and jaded words tell of histories long gone that she refuses to share despite her unknown connection to the Legendary Warriors. Between keeping their double lives a secret, resolving the sudden shifts that have arisen in their path, and bringing about a new era of prosperity, the Legendary Warriors have their work more than cut out for them, but all will be worth it to keep their fates unbound.

Takuya goes to the hospital to have a checkup from Dr. Kimura. He seems pretty tired from work, poor guy. He thought it would be Mrs. Kimura but nope, it was Kouichi, "Oh boy, Kouichi?!" Will things go well? Takuya seems pretty nervous since he wasn't expecting Kouichi to be his Doctor.
