A 17th student. The Ultimate Journalist finds herself in a mutual killing game. Surrounded by some of the most interesting people she's ever met, she clicks with one in particular who seems to have more to him than he makes others believe. [[HIATUS]] **spoilers through chapter 6, to be safe** Hey everyone! This is an idea I've had in my mind for a while, and I decided to write it down. I love Kokichi soo much, and I really wanted to explore his character more. While it says Kokichi x Reader, it's going to be slow burn most likely. Maybe something along the lines of friends with something unspoken? I'm not sure yet. This is sort of a test run to see how my ideas pan out, so I may change things later on. Sorry for typos etc, idk how much I'll be editing these before they go up. I wanted Reader to be fleshed out and not have her world completely dominated by Kokichi, so there will be other interactions. I've also given her a backstory which will be revealed in due time, so I apologize if it's to OC-ey for some people. I hope you can enjoy either way! Also note: while I think I'm a decent writer, I've never done Xreader before, but I have read quite a few! Bare with me if it seems awkward as I get used to it. Feedback is always appreciated!! 🖤

In the beginning, all you could see was darkness. It was as if you had faded into nothingness, the inky black hands of unconsciousness pulling you under. When you awoke, you were met with the horrifying reality of the killing game. Kids being forced to slaughter one another for the slim chance of freedom. You couldn't trust anyone, except for him. A part of you wondered if the mastermind realized the two of you knew each other, if they realized you were lovers. Did they put you together unknowingly, or had they meant to cause you despair? This was originally uploaded on Archive of Our Own, but I decided to put it on here as well!!!

Everything about him...his dark eyes...his pale skin....His purple hair....I love it all. He makes me feel feelings that I never want to forget about. I want him all to myself...
