Saihara Shuichi is an overworking 20 year old detective who's lately been dealing with unlucky situations, which could've gotten worse if not for his intuition, when all of a sudden a purple haired "angel" appeared, claiming to be his guardian who's been protecting him this whole time from the accidents. Like almost stepping on an innocent water puddle with a broken electric wire or almost spilling coffee on his important work or a toilet almost falling on his head...? That's a little extreme, but apparently he's the one "preventing" them from hurting Shuichi. How would he react if the cause of all these events was actually the "angel" all along...? Kaede and Shuichi are a couple. Everyone thinks they are perfect for each other. A violin player and a pianist. They perform together every single month. But the truth is, they were forced together by their parents. Shuichi doesn't mind. It keeps everyone away from him because they all think that he only talks to Kaede. But they never really talk. Their conversations last 5 minutes. Until they perform at Hope's Peak Academy. Both of them spot two interesting people gazing upon them. After the killing game is over it is revealed everybody who they thought died, was actually still alive and well. They had been watching to whole killing game play out from the safety of what seemed like a waiting room. Shuichi started to find himself more interested in Kokichi after what had happened to him and how he killed himself to save everybody. This is also a slow burn story, I hope you enjoy reading!
