Will the evil Ganondorf get what he's after - the power of the complete Triforce - or will Link be able to stop him? What even enabled Ganondorf to obtain such power in the first place? When inter-dimensional creatures crash in the Kokiri Forest, Link understands that he must once again become the hero that Hyrule once knew him to be. Though he finds Samus Aran fighting off the creatures, he sees this foreign hero as another threat to his world. Link will need to decide if he will once again wield the Master Sword or become a vigilante driven by vengeance. He will also need to decide who the enemy truly is. Well, I am returning to present a novel of Ocarina of Time, and if everything goes well with my time in writing on the side with my original High Fantasy Fiction, I hope to write a novel for Majora's Mask novel as well as I tie Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask with my other piece, "A Shade of Time" My intention is to combine these to form a Hero of Time trilogy. As my headcanon attempts to reconcile the canon in all of the gaps and room for imagination in the game's presentation of the overall storylline, I incorporate my headcanon and also desire to present the story in raw reading material for it to be friendly for readers who are unfamiliar with the fandom. So, I have taken a rather untraditional approach to the story. I hope you find it different and intersting, and that you enjoy it. So, now I present to you: (See Chapter I)

"...Princess Zelda stood tall on her royal pedestal, Link laying low in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The princess was surprisingly sharp, never taking her eyes off the crowd, even turning to take the occasional glance at the assassin's hiding spot. Link stretched his bow, readying the tiny spear inked with poison. ------ Link, a professional assassin who has been assigned the task of killing princess Zelda at her weakest, the death of her father. With Hyrule already falling into turmoil, the princess' recent loss has now left Zelda to take the blame of the imminent collapse of her kingdom. Having no one else to shoulder the weight of her substantial responsibilities, princess Zelda must find a way to restore her lands to the prosperity that once was before her father held reign. Dying seemed to be an unattainable luxury she could not afford. The prospect, however, seemed to be the sweet release she longed for.

It is not my purpose, at this time, to write a novelization of the events of the Hero of Time's era in regards to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as I desire to press on from familiar grounds to less familiar grounds as opened to the imagination of all. This text captures simply my take on the life of the Hero of Time and the events pertaining to his life and fate. I intend to capture the events of the return of the Hero to Hyrule after his maddening adventure in Termina, Ganondorf's invasion of Hyrule, and the fall of the hero in becoming the 'shade'. For conciseness of the tale, in text, I reference my other post, 'Chronicles of a Legend' for suggested reading. However, you may not want to read too much as it contains spoilers, but it's up to you. This novelization also covers the events of the Hero's Shade which ties with the events of the Legend of Zelda's 'Twilight Princess' In regards to the War of Twilight, the text shall cover only that which pertains to the Hero of Time.

Six years passed since the events of the Twilian Crisis. In those six years were peace but diplomatic turmoil resulted. Due to Link's constant annexation of contested land to the Hylian government, the relations between the Gerudon, Goron, Zoran, Kokiri, and Picori tribe soured. Eventually, due to the constant annexations of the forest environment, the Picori, an elven-like tribe summoned from another dimension, decided to war Kokiri. The Hylian government announced its neutrality within the war. The war wouldn't harm anyone, except the forest-born and the forest environment itself. Alarmed at the amount of deforestation and inhumane ecosystemal loss, Link decided to check the forest environment himself. These events would currently spark the second continuation of Link's story and grand adventure!

Link has lived his whole life in one small village of children. now as evil decends upon the land Link finds himself with a fantastic destiny thrust upon him. This is my attempt to put in book form the epicness that is the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. most of the dialoug was taken straight from the game with some creative liberties taken by me.

This is a mini series set in three parts of the Chronicles as following: a) Of Ganon and Power, b) Of Zelda the Princess, and c) Of Link the Hero This is a narrative that chronilizes the legends of Zelda. This concerns in chronology of the eras of the Hero of Sky, the Hero of Time, the Hero of Twilight, and the Hero of the Wild. I did my best to make it as canon like as possible and yet adapted a few deviations with the story and the mythology regarding the roots and background of Ganondorf, the Kokiri, the wars of Ganondorf's invasion of Hyrule, the death of the Hero of Time in becoming the Shade. I just thought that I'd share with my fellow Zelda fans. I emphasize the events and characters surrounding the Hero of Time as I believe that while the Legend of Skyward Sword lays the roots of the legends, the era of the Hero of Time is the heart of the legends and each tale in taking from it plays into it as a branch and leaf add and play onto the hearted trunk of the vast tree. For me, the branching tales of the child timelines are the main branch thereof. That being said, please read and review, and I hope you enjoy it.
