The story revolves around a girl named Qurat-ul-Ain, who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Microbiology from a renowned University in Kolkata. She is intelligent and a person of nerdy disposition. During her University holidays she visits her family in Hyderabad, where she meets her childhood acquaintance Yahya, a young man in his mid-twenties. He is a right-handed batsman who is known for his high strike rate and dynamic performance in domestic cricket.
Aina's (Qurat-ul-Ain) prejudice and unreasonable opinion about cricketers change after meeting Yahya, who remains sincere with his career without compromising his faith. On the other hand, Yahya's childhood love for Aina rekindles after many years of no contact.
As soon as Yahya turns 24, his parents begin to persuade him to get married. He, who used to be nonchalant about getting married reveals his feelings for Aina to his mother. His mother sends a marriage proposal and Aina's father, who is unwilling to get her daughter married to a cricketer agrees considering Yahya's calm nature and righteous character.
Both of them get married within a fortnight after their meeting due to Yahya's busy schedule. Aina returns to Kolkata but she doesn't reveal her marriage to anyone. Yahya also travels back to Kolkata and settles in the city for the Ranjhi Trophy. The same year he gets a place in the Kolkata Squad too for the upcoming IPL season.
With Yahya and Aina living in the same city, they often find themselves spending time with each other while choosing to keep their marriage a secret from the world. In an attempt to hide their relationship, Aina impulsively lies to her friends, which eventually lands her into an amusing chaos.
