The only person who never did was her beloved sister Cassie. Desiree knew that one day they would try and do something to her but what they did was something worse than death. She ended up being the reason why all other like herself that came along in the clan where marked instantly as a lost cause and also chucked away. Eventually while she waits for her fate to end she has another visitor pop in. A boy name Kai. A relative of hers one that's not to much younger than her in physical age. She tries to get to know him and help him but she soon realises that he doesn't care about her and thinks she's a big part of the reason why he was put there in the first place. Eventually they manage to escape and Desiree tries to flee leaving Kai and the rest of the clan drama behind is finally able to go after the thing she wanted most to be reunited with her sister. Kai soon ruins the plans by planning something so sinister she decided to head back to mystic Falls to try and stop him. Getting wrapped up in his plot she ended up dying along with the rest of the clan. She thought she was gone for good finally until she woke up in transition just like Kai did. She got out of there and ended up heading out to find what she was looking for and get away from kai. Which lead her to a beautiful place called new Orleans where she is about to have even more adventure enter her life. ~~~~~~~~×××××~~~~~~~~~~
