Novamente os demônios precisam de um rei e um novo torneio se inicia, os 1000 participantes misturam as tradições dos demônios antigos com sua personalidade e interpretação jovem. Os desafiantes seguem as regras dos mais velhos, uma guerra entre eles poderia destruir o mundo dos humanos, por isso foi decidido que os jovens deveriam lutar com parceiros humanos para crescer e se desenvolver tanto emocionalmente quanto intelectualmente de forma rápida.Haverá apenas um rei por isso é missão de cada um deles evoluírem suas magias e se tornarem poderosos como um rei, pois em sua cultura o rei deve ser "mais do que qualquer um" em vários sentidos.
