He had a good family (even though his sister tried to kill him three or four times when they were younger), a good house and more. He had awesome friends and together they made an awesome band called Grojband. Everything seemed fine to Corey Riffin until that day. The day Grojband broke up.

Kin watched Laney stare at Corey with pity. He and Kon had always known of her crush on Corey, and he felt terrible that Corey continuously friend-zoned her. So he brewed up a love potion to make him fall in love with her.

Due to her father finding a new job out of the city, Laney Penn is forced to move away from her home town, leaving her friends behind. 7 years later she's back for the summer and finds herself worried about bumping into a certain childhood friend of hers in which she had a misunderstanding with.
