(M/n)s mum takes him with her as they travel to Japan from England to be closer to his grandparents. As he attends therapy sessions he finds a way to comfort himself, playing volleyball. As he finishes middle school he applies for karasuno high school after recommendation from his grandfather. Emma Kageyama is a normal girl with a lot of friends. Her brother Tobio Kageyama is friends with almost everyone on the Karasuno team but his number 1 enemy the great king is friends with Emma from Anna Oikawa. Theres lots of made up charecters in this and every boy volleyball player has a sister in this.
