Nyx stumbled across a Molenoid and a powerful fire slug on her way to catching some slugs for her own arsenal. She only started slug slinging a couple weeks ago when she finally made her way down to Slugterra. Things have changed in the five years that have passed since Will Shane's disappearance. Without their protector, the 99 Caverns are becoming more and more dangerous. Blakk Industries is slowly taking over the realm's slugs and industry. Doctor Blakk seems bent on ruling the realm. Without her guardian, Alana's been living with only the company of her slugs. Determined to keep a positive view on her life, she's focused on training to become the slugslinger that Will would have helped her be, despite wondering about herself and her strange new abilities that are appearing. But when Will's son takes the Drop to Slugterra, Alana has to put her own life on hold to help save her home.

A naive young waitress, light on her feet, who had never held a blaster before. He never would've guessed how a single person could affect one's life so much. Especially when they seemed polar opposites. Her constantly tumbling down would never have deemed a problem to him until she was tumbling into his dangerous life aswell. An annoyance to his already burdensome life. Yet... quite tolerable. Her childish antics and exuberant grins were anything but predictable. Perhaps that's why he still hadn't scared her away just yet. It was all more amusing. And rather, musical, to his once colourless life. Or so that he simply made himself believe in.

The story follows Eli Shane who is finding a way to live in Slugterra without his idol by his side. He meets a few friends and foes along the way, and he must stop the bad guys from corrupting and destroying Slugterra before their evil plans will be executed. Eli and his friends meet a group of children who are different and peculiar from most people. They must cooperate with each other in order to fight the villains, with the help of a wise woman who is the headmistress of the children. Inspired by Ransom Riggs' Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children novel series and Asaph Fipke's Slugterra TV series.

Before his first Ghoul, Dr. Blakk had other experiments. One of them, his own seven year old daughter. What happens when the Shadow Clan find her? An unstable serial killer from the surface has found herself in SlugTerra after escaping from the asylum that she was locked up in. She aims to cause chaos in this new world, but will she be stopped by a certain blue haired boy and his friends? Gore is prominent through the whole story as it centres around a mass murder.
