Serena Yoon never meant to become Korea's newest obsession. Born and raised in Seattle, the 24-year-old Korean-American moves to Seoul after graduating with a Computer Science degree, planning to spend a few quiet months with her grandmother before deciding what to do with her life. Instead, she accidentally shakes the entire esports world. Under the anonymous in-game name Astra, Serena climbs the Korean ranked ladder with terrifying speed. Her mechanics feel impossible. Her decision-making almost inhuman. Nobody knows who she is, yet clips of her dismantling professional players spread across Korean forums overnight. A ghost account. A prodigy. A rumor. Then T1 notices her. What begins as a private tryout quickly turns into national controversy when Serena becomes the first woman to join T1's League of Legends main roster. Some people call her the future of esports. Others insist she doesn't belong there at all. As Astra becomes one of the most watched names in Korea, Serena is still just trying to figure out where she belongs. In America. In Korea. In esports. In her own skin. And then there's Lee Sang-hyeok. Who never tries to figure her out at all. Who just... stays. Crossfire: T1 Astra is a slow-burn esports romance about identity, fame, loneliness, and what happens when the world turns someone into a legend before they've even figured out who they are.

Shauna Gibbs arrived at Westmont Academy carrying everything she could not put down - the memory of her father's voice, the silence he left behind, and a promise she intends to keep no matter what it costs her. She did not come looking for anyone. She came to build something her father would recognize, something worth the grief. Evan Park arrived carrying his own wreckage - the kind that hides behind a clean jawline and a football jersey and a grandmother's house so large it echoes when you walk through it alone. He is disciplined and guarded and quietly devastated, and he is not looking for anything either. They find each other the way people find each other when they are not paying attention to where they are walking. What builds between them is not fast. It is not simple. It is chosen, deliberately and quietly, against the weight of other people's expectations, against a friendship that is not what it appears to be, against a world that has opinions about who belongs with whom and says so in the ways that worlds always say things - in looks and rooms and doors that open for some people and close for others. And then everything that was quietly building between them cracks open. All at once. In the worst possible way. Where the Light Stopped is a slow-burning interracial romance and psychological suspense novel about grief and its aftermath, about what love costs when the world around it is actively trying to undo it, and about what remains of two people when everything they built has been stripped to the foundation. This story does not rush. It does not look away. And it does not promise you easy. ©️ Relle H.// R. H.

She had built a life around independence, discipline, and carefully guarded silence. Her mother's maiden name had become more than a name; it had become a boundary between the woman she was and the history she refused to inherit. He had grown up surrounded by tradition, expectation, and a Korean-American family whose love had always carried weight. Their lives had once been connected by friendship, until growing older had complicated everything they thought they understood about trust, loyalty, and betrayal. Years later, they had found each other again. Not as the teenagers they remembered. Not as strangers. Somewhere between old memories and new beginnings, friendship had returned first. Slowly, patiently, and without either of them realizing how deeply it would change them. She had learned that strength did not mean carrying everything alone. He had learned that loyalty did not always mean following the path placed before him. Together, they had discovered that love could grow quietly, without permission, while the worlds around them demanded certainty. But their lives had carried more history than either expected. Family expectations, cultural traditions, complicated legacies, and buried emotions had followed them into adulthood, forcing them to question what belonged to the past and what belonged to them. Their connection had become a collision between tenderness and pressure, independence and vulnerability, friendship and desire. It had been a story of second chances, complicated families, hospital corridors, quiet mornings, late-night conversations, Korean and English spoken across family tables, and two people learning that love was not simply something they felt. It was something they chose. Again and again. ©️ _RelleLebby_// R. H.

In the golden haze of Los Angeles sunsets and the quiet ache of Seoul rainy nights, five dreamers find themselves living across the hallway from each other - and slowly becoming each other's safe place. Kim Jennie, also known as Kim Ah Reum, is a Korean-American visual arts student at Westwood Arts University (WAU). Behind her calm personality and camera lens hides a girl who secretly writes emotional songs she's too afraid to share with the world. She captures memories through photographs, film projects, and quiet observations - noticing the emotions people try hardest to hide. Across from her apartment lives x-treme, a pre-debut idol group under Hit Entertainment. There's Park Jae Won, the cold and guarded main vocalist whose lonely heart hides behind perfection and silence. Kang Min Woo, the introverted second lead vocalist and visual of x-treme who is terrified of failure. Lee Ji Hoon, the chaotic rapper who jokes through his loneliness. And Choi Sung Min, the youngest member fighting to prove he's more than "just the maknae." As late-night convenience store talks, rooftop conversations, practice room struggles, studio sessions, and campus festival nights slowly intertwine their lives, Jennie becomes more than just the girl next door. She becomes inspiration. Comfort. Home. But between trainee evaluations, hidden fears, unfinished songs, and dreams too important to lose, emotions begin to blur quietly beneath friendship. And for Jae Won especially- falling for the girl next door might become the most dangerous thing of all.

Chef Hana Kim doesn't compromise. Not her food, not her kitchen, not the back-alley San Francisco restaurant she built from nothing after a mountain took her balance and never gave it back. So when the most famous voice on the planet collapses at her counter past closing - starving, shaking, unable to keep anything down before his stadium tour - she pours him a cup of burdock tea and tells him she's closed. He offers a hundred thousand dollars for a week of midnight dinners. She offers three rules. Rule three: don't leave food on the plate. What neither of them counts on is that the contract becomes the only honest thing in two lives built entirely on performance - that the rhythm of her knife on the cutting board is the only thing that quiets his panic - or that the snow she's spent fifteen years refusing to look at is exactly where this has to end. A slow-burn contract romance about food as memory, snow as survival, and the difference between being looked at and being fed. She lost the snow. She found the fire.

This book may contain korean words since the main character(s) are korean American. **** He walked down the hallways with his head down trying to survive a day at school, at home he blocked out the sounds of shattering glass and shouting by blasting his music on full volume while he laid in the dark. Long sleeved shirts covered what he did to himself every night before he fell asleep. He kept his feelings in a jar and covered them with a fake smile. His smile was award winning being able to cover up all his weaknesses, but one thing that gave him away was his eyes, his eyes always told everything if people stop for a while and noticed. He was secretly falling apart and either were to busy not caring to notice, or they where oblivious to the obvious He wasn't close to anyone, he didn't have any friends and he found it better off that way. Besides, what person would want to befriend someone who would even befriend themselves? He was any book waiting to be filled with words, waiting for someone to tell his story, and the broken boy who was glue keeping his family together was the one and only Ace Evergreen.

The thing about love is that you can never really see it coming. It's a real silent thing, slowly making its way into your life. Just like air, it's something that you can't see, yet at the same time come to depend on. It's the tingles underneath your skin, the stars in his eyes. The scent that lingers on the collar of his shirt. It's that pounding and shaking your heart gives - the kind that ripples throughout your whole being. Its feel so damn good. The thing about love is that it ends in heartbreak. That trembling of your hands that you can't seem to stop. The tears you can very vaguely feel sliding down your cheeks. It's that anger you feel at the sight of his eyes - those eyes you can't help but feel drawn to. That gorgeous shade of green. It's that aching and burning sensation that stabs your chest - the kind that leaves you numb in both head and heart. It hurts so fucking bad. You want the know the thing about love? I should have never fallen into it.
