Breathing Under Water Drowning in Air Korrasami AU Asami is a mermaid, daughter of the King of the Eastern Reef. She is betrothed to the Prince of the Western Reef to make peace and prevent her kingdom from going bankrupt. Korra is a winged humanoid,-or Wingèd- living with her adopted Parents and training to be a Master Wingèd Guardian of Nani with her two best friends Opal and Jinora. (**IMPORTANT**) In this AU, Korra is adopted by Tenzin, after the Southern Tribe of Wingèds is destroyed. Jinora is Korra's age and Opal is staying with them in the Tree Temple (Air Temple). Pema is a human, and Mako is a Merperson like Asami. There are no benders, only Humans, Merpeople, and Wingèds, but the nations, tribes, etc. all stay somewhat the same. A few little tales of characters from The Legend Of Korra. They are connected, but can also be read on their own without needing to have read the others. All will be set after the end of the show. Stories do not exceed anything beyond PG to PG-13 level stuff. Story 1- It Stays With You: Korra still occasionally suffers from trauma-induced nightmares and Asami does what she can to help. Story 2- Lucky: Bolin and Opal have an unexpected but happy development in their lives. Story 3- My Feeble Turtle-Duck: Bolin has a nightmare about his ex-girlfriend.

You, the next fire lord were getting ready for your coronation. Your brother General Iroh II knew you would be a great leader so he relinquished his title as the fire lord to help his kingdom. But the same day, the Fire Kingdom was attacked. You used every single bit of your bending to help your kingdom. And even the united forces tried to help, but once they arrived... It was too late. You were evacuated to Republic City with Tenzin, where Korra was. You both had so much in common that a friendship grew. But so did with one of Korras friends, Mako. No one knew your identity as the next Fire Lord except Korra and Tenzin. Even though your appearance hasn't changed much since the attack in the Fire Kingdom, you still were barely recognizable.

A year after Korra and Asami started dating some old people from Korra's childhood decide they want to be known again. Korra has to find a way to tell Asami this massive secret she's been keeping from her, for all good reasons. Note: (Take me up until page 4 to get the juice spilled because I didn't want the chapters to be to long.) Takes place about a year after the season 4 finale (I will try to keep true to the comics as well but seeing as I don't have super future vision to know what the next releases will hold I'm bound to have some differences). Obviously I don't own The Legend of Korra or the Avatar universe, all original characters and set up go to the beautiful minds of Bryke aka Mike and Bryan. Note: If you have not read the comics this should still make sense to you:) Also this is my first fanfic so please bear with me, we're all experiencing this together.

The story of how Asami found her love

17 year old high school junior Korra has always been different, but she is especially different because of her diagnosis. She has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Because of this all her life, Korra has struggled to make friends and communicate with others. Korra is extremely intelligent in all subjects. But one thing Korra wants more than anything... a girlfriend. Korra thinks there's no girl for her, but she will be pleasantly surprised to see Asami Sato! A hard working 18 year old senior who absolutely loves and adores Korra for who she is.

Bolin was never one to receive something unexpected But he surely never expected this to happen. Whatever Mako gave to him was one thing he did not expect would happen. Will things turn out smoothly in the end?

The priest started his speech and then he said, "You sir. Do you take this beloved woman as your wedded wife?" He asked the man. "I do" He answered with a smile. "You madam. Do you take this...." The priest looked at the man with eyes that explained thirst. Oh god. I tried not to burst out in laughter. "This man as your wedded husband?" Alex snorted, "Nahh, I'm too gay for this shit." (Lately only my fellow gay friends have understood this without me explaining.)

Korra and Asami start to explore there relationship after Korra was gone for 3 year's and they start to experiment with each other which leads to them falling in love with each other. Other characters from the show an comics will be in the story at some points so get ready for that and yes there while be bending. I'm gonna try to follow around the area from season 4 and all the comics and most likely further in to the future if that makes sense in anyway. *DISCLAIMER I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE LEGEND OF KORRA CHARACTERS*

All the events in Book 4 has happened, all except Korrasami. It has the same theme as the Legend of Korra Turf Wars comics but only in that of the election. I just wanted a Korrasami slowburn so I just needed to do this.
