In the vampyr society there are several ranks, There is Royalty, Nobles, Volto and lastly condannato. The condannato, which meant "doomed" were thought to be the lowest. They were humans born from a family of Vampires, who chose to stay human. Koryn was at this time doomed. She was born from a nobel family, human. She was happy haveing a heartbeat. Her family however doesnt share her enthusiasm. How can she stay true to herself and please her family?
