After the death of their parents and forced to leave their home, Sang and her sister Marie travel to the new home their parents planned to move to. In their efforts to survive they meet 9 boys from an organization called the Academy. With their help, Sang and Marie might survive.

As Jess helps out more on the reserve and finds herself, Sang starts to meet some of Jess's family and experiences things she has no idea how to deal with. Ever since Sang Servilia was a little girl, she loved space. She loved watching spacecrafts land and take off, gawking at the pictures of planets far beyond the solar system, and gazing at the Andromeda galaxy in the night sky, wondering if the aliens who lived in that galaxy were gazing back. The team expects to be leading around a clueless, stupid Terran aristocrat who wants to pet every single animal that looks remotely like a dog.
