So we all know that Linh got banished at age eleven right? And Tam willingly went with her? Well, I thought, "how exactly did Linh and Tam get banished?" So, I decided to write a bit of their backstory. This story was originally published on Quotev, under the username marellathebest, screen name loading. That account is inactive and I just decided to publish it here. Enjoy! (Cover art is not mine, neither are the characters. All the characters used in this story with the exception of OCs like Thistelwind, belong to Shannon Messenger, the author of the series.)

Darielle Mendax remembers nothing of her past. Everything is a blur, apart from the things she somehow instinctively knows.
