Kousei Arima, despite his musical talent, lived fourteen years of mostly devastation, with occasional respite with his "sister" Tsubaki and the notorious Watari. At first, he attributed his change in spirit to the arrival of the capricious, passionate Kaori Miyazono. But what if a kick from his childhood best friend and "sister" causes him to reframe things and transition into life without a certain blonde? After Kaori died, Kousei lost himself completely. He didn't sleep, eat, or play piano. Anyone that would come to the door would be pushed away except for Tsubaki whilst the piano got very dusty and triggered memories for him. Until one day after school let out, he heard the strumming of a guitar and decided to check it out...

In this story, I'll be giving Kousei and Kaori their deserved happy ending, and go through the many journeys they'll go on in the future, also, lots and lots of fluff! Hey guys. This is Dom. Okay here is my first attempt of making one-shots. Hope you like it guys!

Alright well, a little backstory first, I started watching your lie in April back in 2016 but when I found out accidentally how it ended I stopped on episode 6 for nearly two years, after some bad things happened in my life I went back and finished it, the show itself is a masterpiece and immediately made it to the top of my favorite shows list and I've rewatched it repeatedly but like most, the ending hit me like a freaking bus and threw me into depression for a long time, so I decided to make my own, happier, ending, the thing that really got me about it was how Kaori died without knowing for sure how Kousei (or Arima if you prefer) felt about her, the creator himself didn't want it to end that way either, he just wrote it to make his editor cry but by the time he decided to change it, it has already been submitted to the network and would cost too much to change, I know I'm late to the party and I am so very sorry for it, I doubt many people really care anymore but writing this was still pretty therapeutic and the show did give me an outlet for all the emotions I had bottled up inside, the biggest complaint I've seen with other alternate endings is that they dont capture the emotions of the original so I did my best to capture both the emotion and give it a happy twist, it's no masterpiece, not by a long shot but I hope it's still a good short read and can maybe cheer some others up too, maybe I'll write another alternate ending sometime in the future but for now, please feel free to leave a comment, I'd love it and if you havent seen the show... what are you doing here? They shared a lot of time together including sad and happy moments. But one day, Arima Kousei soon discovered about Miyazono Kaori's disease. The disease which had made her sparkling,blond hair turn pale. Miyazono Kaori had soon died and after that, she went to the Soul Society where the dead people's soul live. Will she be able to meet Arima Kousei and continue their love story in the after life?
