Neither of them understands love yet and experiences the growing pains of it. A sad story about not wanting to hurt the other, thus distancing themselves. Follow the tragic story of Arima Kousei and Miyazono Kaori as they learn about themselves and each other. Thank you for a fan fiction 8 years in the making. All of his life, Kousei Arima was a boy that was just about automatic as you could get when playing the piano. Then, one day, a free-spirited violinist comes into her life...... ....but then, Kousei finds out his fate may be in jeopardy. What will become of Kaori? Tsubaki? Watari? And most importantly, Kousei's rivals? Will Kousei be able to express his feelings towards Kaori, and can she save Kousei from his hell before it is too late? ----- As you can tell, this is an alternate retelling of Your Lie in April. But the fates have been reversed (and before you ask, Kousei is the ill one, not Kaori, who is far from that in this story), which will make for quite a gripping, if not heart-wrenching story, maybe more so than the original. She loved piano, until she lost her love for it because of a serious rival in her piano competitons. She quit for years, but she is finding her love for it again through the boy who made her quit in the first place, along with friends and love interests she meets along the way. What if... Kaori survived her surgery? Kousei learned to love music again. Because it happened. Kaori, still in the hospital is now learning to walk correctly again. She is making great progress. Meanwhile... Kousei has learned to love piano again. All because of last spring. Its a new year, and Kousei has got back into his old routine. Learn a piece, practice the piece to call his own, and perform for the world to hear and enjoy. But now its to and for his enjoyment. He travels all over the world to perform.
