I loved the anime and deeply connected with it and here I am lol. It got the ending it deserved, but obviously none of us were satisfied so here we go. Kousei Arima was hit by what he had just seen during his performance. He saw HER disappear and he was beyond devastes. she was gone. However he gets a surprise visit and learns Kaori had survived the surgery. She wasn't gone. But Kousei never gets the letter. He, along with Tsubaki and Watari, wait days for Kaori to recover and eventually visit her, with nothing being the same ever again The ending we all wanted, from yours truly

Kousei Arima, despite his musical talent, lived fourteen years of mostly devastation, with occasional respite with his "sister" Tsubaki and the notorious Watari. At first, he attributed his change in spirit to the arrival of the capricious, passionate Kaori Miyazono. But what if a kick from his childhood best friend and "sister" causes him to reframe things and transition into life without a certain blonde? Credits to whomever created the photo of Tsubaki and Kousei; I created the frame and caption, but I did not do the editing to get Tsubaki and Kousei together this way.

It's been seven months since Kaori's death. It's now the start of December. Kousei hasn't been the same. Watari has moved on, but, he's not really the same. He's a little bit more reserved. Kousei and Tsubaki had a short thing, but it didn't really last that long. However, Kousei hasn't stopped playing the piano. Follow Kousei on a new romance story, with a new girl. A pianist.

Kaori Miyazono went into surgery a year ago. No feedback was given to anyone else but family members, making everyone automatically presume that she was dead. Heartbroken from the event, Kousei Arima forces himself to move on from the blonde headed girl who had previously stolen his heart.
