Kopa, prince of the Pridelands is born. But a darkness from the war of the past is back. ZIRA, Scar's top general and mate, wants revenge against Simba for killing her beloved Scar, and she will not stop until he is dead. During her quest for vengeance, Zira found a cub and adopted her. Over the years Zira has assembled an army of outlanders, who also want revenge against Simba for what he did in the war so many years ago. As Kopa grows older, so does Zira's hate for Simba. Her plan is almost ready to be set into motion. Once her army and her best soldier VITANI is ready, she will take back what she believes is her's, and take over the Pridelands.... This book is set 11 years after the first book, so read the first one if you haven't

Kion enjoyed life,he goes to school,he has the best friends,he is a uncle,and he is the principals sun.But one thing he did not enjoy was every year scar's army attacked,last year they attacked every month.One day his dad told him that a new girl would come to this school but this girl wasn't a normal girl she was a future queen,scar's army is after her because if they kill the queen than she would be up and that's why Simba wanted Kion and the lion guard to protect her,but will Kion protect the land and save the future queen? or will he fail and the villains will kill the future queen?

In the main universe, Kion was born just a few years after Kiara. However in this universe Kion was born after Kiara and Kovu united their prides. But since there was no Lion Guard to help keep the Outlanders at bay, they plotted their takeover of the Pridelands. Now Kovu will have to raise Kion, as part of Kiara's final wish to him, while on the run from those who took everything from him.

Usiku, the disowned daughter of Kovu and Kiara has just found a home in the Tree of Life. After settling into her new home she and the Night Pride later find a crystal. She touches it and absorbs it's powers, and becomes a shapeshifter! She soon learns that being a shapeshifter and absorbing the powers of the crystal wasn't all fun and games as she discovers she had set a monster that went by the name of Werelion free from their cage inside the crystal. Werelion watched from behind her eyes, observing Usiku, her daily life and her friends. They are now linked to her body, because as Reirei said... once a shapeshifter, always a shapeshifter. Usiku struggles to contain this parasite on her own, and attempts to keep it a secret from her girlfriend and their friends. They ask more and more questions, until Usiku finally loses control and turns into the Werelion, an emotionless and savage monster who will devour anyone in their path. Will the Night Pride find out, help Usiku and get rid of the Werelion and trap it into the crystal for all eternity, or is there more to the Werelion than they put on? Are they really just a psychotic monster, or do they, deep down inside, actually just want... A friend? ~~~~~~ "All this time, I thought you were a monster."
