He had never met his father, and his mother was suffering from stage 3 bone cancer and was sadly confined to her hospital bed for the remainder of her life. The boys knew each other in middle school. Sure he may not have liked Bakugo's personality but he did like the drive and enthusiasm he had. He wants to find a way to tell Bakugo about his feelings, without Bakugo blowing him up of course. Bakugo tames him, and the others gain its trust not long after. Yet Bakugo doesn't know the dragon's name, or that he is a shapeshifter. They'll receive a quest that includes lots of traveling, Kirishima being brought along on the serious journey for exporting. He becomes closer to his friends, but even closer with only one person. It was like the words just gushed out to the point where Todoroki wasn't even listening, just sitting with his head resting on his fist. An slowpaced fic full of surprises that's perfect for the folks looking to laugh, smile, squeal and cry all at 1 in the morning. After a mishap during training, Bakugo and Kirishima decide to skip school to eat some lunch and hang out. Every turn they make seems to throw them into more and more danger as the pair struggle to stay both safe and sane. When push comes to shove, the boys are there for each other. No matter if it's something like coming out as trans or running into the lov, nothing can tear them apart. A bit of a mental health tw, because this has a heaping handful of angst. This fic talks about and gives examples of unhealthy coping mechanisms as well as unhealthy mindsets/thinking on bakugos part, nothing major but it still warrants a warning for far later in this series.
