Look into the world of the Deltarune: Neko Adaption AU. Where as humans are replaced with the feline likeness that is the neko. Nekos being the commin denominator considering that they're practically the same as humans, despite their cat features. So rest assured, everything is pretty much the same. Other than humans being replaced with nekos. Kris is a very particular neko though...be it nekos are very curious and free creatures. 'The world is your litter box' type mentality. Kris, while being distant and isolated all the time, he often questions this reality and what becomes of it when the world is tasked with not being absurd for once. Nekos are advanced to be of only two genders. Male and female. However, bisexual, trans, lesbian and gay seem to exist just fine. But for Kris? Life is just a large cat kennel that himself and his fellow nekos are trapped in, waiting to be adopted by whatever life's battles may be. And if they do not reach their goal of adoption, then they are put down. Sounds about right. Notes: -Please don't batter me about Kris, Frisk, and Chara's gender okay? This is an AU. I am not doing this as an offense to the canon or any other interpretations of KFC in other media. -Making Kris a guy just makes it a bit easier for me. And to be honest, I can't be the first one to make Frisk and Chara girls. Otherwise, I support everyone and their decisions when it comes to who they identify as. I'm not against LGBTQIA+ in any way. This is a story following the Undertale True Pacifist route, and creating a Deltarune story. {{STORY IS A WIP}} The sun shone brightly over the horizon, the warmth comforting the monsters faces happily. Asriel gripped the hand in his palm softly, Frisk smiling at the wonderful warmth of the Surface. Toriel, the former caretaker of the ruins, had taken Asriel's hand and begun to lead the two off to a new place they never knew. Frisk glances over to the child goat beside them, squeezing his paw just a little tighter. Asriel teared up and smiled. "Thank you, Frisk.. Thank you for helping me..." Soon, the three came to a stop. The open gates to a village. As promised, Frisk stood up tall with their chin high to the sky, and lead the monsters past every human, to a beautiful fountain, laced with shining buttercups. Asriel felt an unsettling drop in his gut, but tried to stay strong, just as everyone around him was. Frisk, with the help of the Great Papyrus, climbed to the dry top of the fountain and began to shout a speech. "Humans of the surface! My name is Frisk Dreemurr, and I am one of 2 princes of the underground! And yes... So..This will be a series of short stories about the Deltarune video game before chapter 1 based on what Noelle tells us throughout the chapters about the resources she has with her sister December Holiday (Dess only), Asriel and Kris before Dess disappeared, Asriel went to college and all the events of the main game will happen These little stories are technically canon and made from that little bit of information Noelle gives us, this is how I had imagined things happened in those memories. Notice: This story has some holes in it. There are questions that are not answered because I am planning a bigger story that all of the fanfics I've currently been writing ( even spamton lol ) are connected to. Some things I want to answer in those stories. ---- My headcanon backstory for Kris, sharing the events that lead them to acting how they behave in the current game, as well as give some insight to a certain darkner's appearance. Kris in this story uses they/them pronouns primarily, but also uses he/him - Kris specifically identifies as the SON of the Dreemurrs and BROTHER of Asriel in this storyline, and is AMAB.

I blame Noelle for making me like Christmas a lot more now. Heads up: I wrote this story with the assumption of you playing or at least watching someone play chapter 1 & 2. These stories are made using what is given in the first two chapters and builds on it. There are even some hidden elements used that you have to explore the game for. (The Sadie Hawkman's Dance poster at the school, and the track poster that says Noelle is in it. The track poster does mention her.) These stories are love stories having Noelle, Susie, and Kris because romance is like the only thing I've been reading here.

A compilation of Deltarune one-shots based on headcanons, what-ifs, or theories of mine. Some of them may share similarities, but I intend to make all stories readable in basically any order. Cover by me! :)

DISCLAIMER- I know the characters are more gender neutral but for the sake of this story, Kris is MALE and Chara and Frisk are FEMALE so DO NOT go complaining in the comments!! How does one cope with two complete opposite little sisters and an entire world looking to said one for peace? Not easily. But it's a challenge that only the bravest of heroes can face. Can this hero face it too, or will he lose his mind over it all?
