Would America find herself attach to Maxon over again or with his brother?

America thought her life was changed in the Selection, and she was right. But little did she know she could have won. Maxon sees her with Aspen, gets mad, and chooses Kriss. America is heartbroken, but she finds out some unexpecting news. She was pregnant with the heirs to the throne. She would have to hide their identities from the world, and, more importantly, their father. What happens when she has to go back and join the selection, AGAIN? What will hapen to her and Maxon? Do they still love each other as they did in The Selection? Will Maxon find out he has twins with America? Maxon looked like an angel. His golden hair was slicked back, and his tight tuxedo defined his strong arms. He looked over at me and winked. Heat crept up my cheeks as I averted my eyes and focused on the wine in front of me. As I took a sip, the world sort of faded, and there was Maxon, standing tall. Right in front of me, with a bright smile overtaking his face. He put a hand on my shoulder and guided me to the dance floor. It was empty. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an orchestra appeared and started playing the slowest music I had ever heard. He put a hand on my waist as I looped my arms around his neck. We swayed to the music for a moment before he dipped his head downwards and tilted my chin. I closed my eyes, anticipating the sweet kiss that would soon be on my lips. We were getting closer, and closer, and closer. . . Suddenly, the arms around my waist disappeared. I opened my eyes, only to see the orchestra gone and America playing the violin instead. Maxon was right in front of her, with an adoring smile on his face. She stopped playing, and pulled Maxon down for the kiss that I lost. I screamed. Warning: You might not understand a thing if you haven't read The Selection series by Kiera Cass.

This is a fanfiction based on the incredible Selection trilogy by Kiera Cass. It's an alternate ending, Maxon chose Kriss because he was heartbroken over America and the king and queen weren't killed. This is a multiple perspective story, flipping between Maxon and America, and the occasional extra characters. What will happen? America struggles to cope with the loss of six beloved people from the castle attack. She finds herself in difficult situations where she must make difficult choices. She doesn't know if she can handle this new weight on her shoulders. To make things worse, at what it seems, someone takes an interest in her romantically, but who is this person she has met?
