Okay, this series doesn't get enough attention it deserves and I can't see a lot of x reader books about them so yeah. I do not own The Promised Neverland or any of the characters. I just write for fun.

Alles um uns herum stand in Flammen und ich fühlte einen Druck auf meinen Ohren. Mein Verlobter hatte Tränen in den Augen. Sein Gesicht war von Schmerzen verzerrt und auf seinem ganzen Körper zeichneten sich viele Wunden ab. Ich hatte ihn noch nie zuvor so gesehen. Irgendetwas stimmte nicht. Als ich mein Spiegelbild betrachtete fiel mir auf, dass ich eine Krone auf trug die in Regenbogenfarbenes Licht eingehüllt war. Das konnte nicht sein die Krone der Macht. Meine Augen waren rot unterlaufen und brannten ich musste viel geweint haben. Ganz unbewusst verließen diese Wörter meinen Mund. '' Cayden ich werde dich nicht töten'' meine Stimme war brüchig, ich konnte sie kaum wiedererkennen. Kurz huschte so etwas wie Reue und Erschütterung über sein Gesicht bis er wieder diesen schmerzerfüllten Blick annahm. Cayden fiel auf die Knie und stützte sich an seinem Schwertgriff ab. Bevor ich noch einmal meine Entscheidung überdenken konnte stieß ich mir mein Schwert in den Bauch.
