Aisyah Rahma, 28 tahun, adalah seorang arsitek asal Kuala Lumpur yang hidupnya nyaris sempurna menurut standar dirinya sendiri: pekerjaan teratur, jadwal tersusun, apartemen rapi, dan masa depan yang sudah ia rancang seperti sebuah denah bangunan. Now, months later, Kamil is standing at Pasar Seni because of a dream he can't explain. Maybe he's there for closure. Maybe he's there to finally let her go. Or maybe some stories aren't finished just because two people stopped talking. A story about love, timing, fear, and the places we return to when we aren't ready to let go. Sebuah mimpi yang bermula dengan kemalangan seorang ahli keluarga, membawa aku kembali ke Kuala Lumpur, ke sebuah rumah flat berhampiran sekolah lama yang pernah menjadi sebahagian daripada hidupku. Dalam keadaan keluarga dari Kelantan datang ke hospital, sebuah homestay yang tidak pernah ditempah tiba-tiba menjadi tempat persinggahan. Seorang kawan ayah mempelawa kami masuk, seolah-olah semuanya telah diatur. Namun, ketika keluargaku sudah beredar, aku pula masih terkandas dalam keadaan berkemban. Rumah kawan yang sepatutnya menjadi tempat menukar pakaian sudah dikunci. Telefon pula kehabisan bateri. Dalam keadaan terdesak, aku terpaksa memakai pakaian milik Cikgu Habibah. Kemudian pemiliknya muncul. Di antara rasa bersalah, permohonan maaf, sehelai baju hijau askar dan seorang perempuan yang tiba-tiba menunjukkan arah, mimpi itu akhirnya meninggalkan satu perkara yang paling jelas dalam ingatanku: "Naik bas nombor 14." Tetapi ke mana sebenarnya bas itu akan membawaku? Ini ialah catatan sebuah mimpi yang panjang, bercampur-baur dan hanya meninggalkan cebisan tertentu dalam ingatan setelah aku terjaga.

Bagi Luqman, setiap kilometer yang ditempuh di atas motosikalnya sebagai rider adalah demi sebuah masa depan bersama Qistina. Biarlah tubuhnya lencun dihujani air mata langit atau terbakar terik matahari, asalkan impian untuk menghalalkan gadis pujaan hatinya tercapai. Namun bagi Qistina, status Luqman sebagai penghantar makanan tidak pernah cukup untuk menjamin hari esok. ​Satu pesanan ringkas yang salah difahami menjadi titik mula badai. Qistina memilih untuk mengikut amarah dan melayan ego. Baginya, rajuk itu satu ujian cinta. Dia sengaja "jual mahal" dan menolak setiap pujukan Luqman yang datang bersama tubuh yang sarat kelelahan. ​ "Kau ingat mudah sangat nak pujuk aku?" ​ Kata-kata itu dilemparkan tanpa sedar bahawa kesabaran seorang lelaki yang paling setia juga mempunyai sempadannya. Apabila sekeping kertas membongkar segala rahsia dan pengorbanan Luqman yang tersembunyi, Qistina tersedar daripada silapnya. Namun, apabila dia berlari untuk berpaut semula pada dahan cinta mereka, yang tinggal hanyalah sebuah pintu rumah yang berkunci rapat. ​ Luqman sudah pergi membawa hatinya yang hancur. Dan Qistina tertinggal bersama beg roti dan penyesalan yang tidak berhujung.
