After successfully defending your (you the reader) championship title once more from your rival Hau you get a message from Kukui, your cousin and residential pokemon professor, and he has a favor to ask of you. He asks you to travel to the Galar region to study there pokemon for him and to see about this so called dynamaxing that can occur there and witness the effects it has on Pokemon moves. agreeing for the chance to have a bit of change of pace for a while you take the next boat to the Galar region when you then take a train to Wedgehurst to go talk to the regions professor when you hear about the so called unbeatable champion and this is where your adventure in Galar starts!
