Years after Sun's world championship victory in Heart of a Champion, he is happily married to Lillie and had a son by the name of Elio. The time has come for him to finally step down and spend some time with his family. Eventually a brash new Champion who seems unbeatable tries to goad Sun out of retirement. Sun has to juggle his family life and his life as a former Champion, will he accept the challenge, and if he does, does he really stand a chance against such a formidable opponent?

The 3rd book in the Heart of a Champion Universe. This story details Sun and Lillie's paths immediately after the events of Pokemon Sun and Moon, then details the events between Heart of a Champion and Sun and Lillie Vs the World. The founding of Manalo Stadium, The Second World Championship of Sun's career, and many family events in Sun's and Lillie's lives make up this story.

Being the two-year reigning Champion of the Alola Region came with its perks; a steady income, amazingly supportive friends, and the absolute dream job. It also came with a few unforeseen drawbacks, like an incapacitated roommate in the form of previous Team Skull boss, Guzma. Based off of the Pokemon Sun/Moon games and show. Guzma is left with nowhere to go after he disbands Team Skull. That is, until Kukui suggests he come stay with him.

A surprise happens in Alola and someone so dear to him is waiting for him at the Altar at Sunn, and then another surprise visit by a legendary Pokémon!

Lillie is Co-President of the Aether Foundation along with her brother who is still traveling through the regions. The Island Challenge has also changed quite a lot as well. Kantonian Traditions mixed with Alolan's to create an Island Challenge unique and fun for trainers of all regions. However there is a group of people who threaten the new peace and prosperity of Alola. The Nefarious Team Sun don't like these new changes to Alola and have started to cause trouble. Will our heroes reunite to take them down? And will _____ be able to reconnect with someone she hasn't seen in over a decade? Will peace be restored to Alola once again or is this team more powerful then all those that came before them?
