After the practice match against Karasuno, Koganegawa approaches Kageyama for setter training advice. Hinata suggests reaching out to setters from other schools, believing each of them has something different to teach. With one contact missing on his phone that doesn't seem like a life-changing for Koganegawa yet he went wildly immersed in why he doesn't have Kunimi's number and how it is ridiculously bothering him from the first place. The story escalates with quiet coincidences, chance encounters at the convenience store and unexpected conversations. Kunimi and Koganegawa are the complete opposite of each other with little in common, the two boys realized how their awkward encounters slowly grow into the most questionable friendship either of them expected.

Kou-chan asked embarrassed as Tooru nodded. A promising reunion... Something Tooru never expected to happen in a middle of a match against his "student" as people call him.
