this story is a 'Fruits Basket' fanfiction which I have based upon the 'Cinderella' parody that was titled 'Happily N'ever After'. yes, I know that a lot of people hated it, but I thought it was pretty good. so of course, I wanted to rewrite it into a 'Fruits Basket' fanfiction. I also believe that the character I have set up for Kyo Sohma in this version of 'Cinderella' hits a lot closer to his actual character than that mockery from within the series that was 'Cinderella-ish', 'Sorta Cinderella', or whatever they called that play production that made me wanna puke my guts out one gut at a time... and that's just me describing what I thought of that play at my nicest. I totally knew that the Prince Yuki Fan Club Girls completely rigged the vote for who would play the stepsister. you'd have to be a total dipstick to think that Tohru Honda could've pulled off that level of cruelty. you could just tell that *that* vote had been cast by a girl or two who suffers excessively from heroine syndrome... to disgustingly unreasonable lengths.
