Thirukkural, or Kural in short, is a classic Tamil literature consisting of 1330 couplets on day to day life. Known for it's practical approach to morals and everyday situations, it is an important work in Tamil language. It is estimated to be written between 3rd and 1st century BCE. In this book, I translate the Kurals to English based on my interpretation. There are 133 chapters, or topics as I like to call them, with each topic containing 10 couplets (kurals). These topics fall under one of three sections - virtue, wealth and love and each section is divided further. Each chapter of this wattpad book will consist of one topic.
