Haru Koi was a 1st year at Seido Highschool and was going to be on the first-string of the Seido baseball team, but became partially blind when his glasses shattered in his eyes while playing baseball. When he found out he was blind he was completely distraught. Baseball was his life and in a split second, he lost the ability to do the sport that he loved. Moving on a year later, Haru Koi still hung out with the Seido being a manager and helping coach some of the 1st years. Although he loved baseball not being able to go onto the field hurt him, and he slowly stopped going. When a certain 1st year becomes determined to change Haru's mind what will happen when he starts having a little crush on him and finds out his brother has liked him for a while too.

After we won the winter cup I thought everything woulb be back to normal but then "coach can you kick kuroko out of the team? we don't need him beside one of the other guys can fill in for him. There better than him anyway" "What do you mean Kagami!?" "I mean kuroko is useless. we only needed him to win the winter cup and we all know one of the other first years can pass so we don't need kuroko on the team anymore" That's what I heard from Kagami. I shut off everything else. all the noise, the voices after what Kagami said was a blur. And what I did next I was proud of. I'll show them I don't need them. The last thing I remember before leaving the gym was leaving the team's jacket, jersey and my resignation letter on the bench. And that's it a new life awaits me. With my new team I know we can make our way to the top.
