Korudo is a 12 year old girl who has grown up in a world of mistrust. She covers her problems with jokes and teasing, and she can't take anything seriously. Korudo decides to take the Hunter Exam in order to achieve her goal of finding her parents. She certainly never thought she'd meet two very unique boys along the way. She finds a specific white haired boy intriguing, and easy to mess with. He finds her annoying due to her constant teasing, which in return causes many arguments. As she goes on adventures with the duo, she finds herself falling for the assassin, much to her displeasure.

She was 12 when she led a dying traveler home. By nightfall, her village was ash. Now 16, Rena Kurta no longer exists. The Zoldycks call her Ayame, a girl without a past, trying to guard their heir and obey without question. But her body remembers things her mind cannot. The smell of smoke, sound of screams, the blood on her hands. When she enters the Hunter Exam beside Killua and crosses paths with Kurapika, claiming to be the last of his people, the cracks in her false life begin to break wide open. Every step forward drags her closer to the fire she thought she'd escaped and to the truth about what she did the night her clan burned. HxH is literally my personal psychological torture, a close second to Death Note. Why did it seem so innocent in the beginning?? WHY DID THE AUTHOR DECIDE TO PUT CHILDREN THROUGH THAT??
