Kurapika's only goal in life was to avenge his clan, and by age 34 he finally achieved it. He wiped out every single spider on planet HxH and could finally live in peace. until LEORIOS bitchass ratted him out to the police for $16. In jail, Kurapika finds out his mother was an undocumented American spy and he gets deported back to the United States, where he then escapes from jail and must make a living in a foreign country with nothing but his street smarts and constant paranoia.

Y/n (they/them) and Kurapika meet at the hunter's exam, where they became friends, though there was some issues here and there, but it wasn't that much of a problem.
