Chapter 3

Kuroo Tetsurou really needs a fake date to his homophobic families gathering, and who should be that fake date? Nobody but his best friends SUPER hot other best friend, Akaashi Keiji.

There was silence from Akaashi. The silence remained for the rest of their walk to his apartment, up the multiple flights of stairs, and even until they were in the room and kicking off their shoes. It wasn't awkward, however, and not tense. It was a thoughtful silence. Akaashi was digesting Kuroo's words, drinking in every syllable to dissect it and understand it like the English major he was. And Kuroo walked along with a smile, knowing he'd said the right things he needed to get Akaashi to believe him, like the businessman he was. Akaashi is struggling and he's been on a silent, steady decline for years. Kuroo figures it out.

The 4 boys have been hanging out more since Kuroo and Bokuto graduated high school, but what if they start to feel new things? Kenma's known he wasn't straight, but it also never occured to him that he was gay. He just always assumed he was bisexual or pansexual. Akaashi never cared about sexual orientation. He was just him. No need for label. Bokuto knew he was gay. He'd always known. So it was no surprise that he found himself attracted to his friends/roomates. Kuroo felt the same way as Akaashi. "Akaashi, please just hear me out," Kuroo begged Akaashi as he followed Akaashi out of his apartment. Kuroo speeds up and grabs Akaashi's arm, turning him around and stopping Akaashi from walking farther from him. "What Kuroo, you know I'm with Bokuto, you can't keep flirting and stuff!" Akaashi snapped as he pulled his arm out of Kuroo's grip. "Akaashi, I like you, and before you start, yes I know you're with Bokuto but, let's just hide it. No one has to know but us. Ok?"
