All I ever wanted was freedom and to be myself, but because of my power those around me tried to brainwash me into becoming a hero like everyone else. And when they failed, they locked me away and replaced me with a fake that fell for their tricks. I thought this was my fate until I was freed by those who seek my aid. Now I will become a nightmare for this society, a nightmare that it will never awaken from. This is my first fanfic so I'm a little nervous so please don't be too hard on me but please give me your thoughts so I can hopefully improve. There probably won't be any romance in this as I'm not really good at writing it nor do I really like it but there might be some stuff here and there. Izuku Midorya's life is dedicated to everything involving hero's (including their enemies) but that's to be expected right? I mean they have everything he doesn't; power, fans, a better life and most importantly... a quirk. This one fact was enough for All Might to completely destroy his dreams. So what happens after to the fanboy whose only hope and dream is to be a hero and escape his miserable life.

This idea is certainly not original, but the art is mine. However, this is my first time writing something to do with My Hero Academia. There will be no smut in this. At all. So, deal with it. Most scenarios are primarily Shigadabi, but there are some parental situations, like between Aizawa and Shigaraki, All Might, ect. Shigs is my favourite villain and character in MHA overall.
