Aimoto Akane used to love the color red as it's what she is named after and because of her bright red eyes, her mother used to say that when she look into Akane's eyes she could see small flames dancing inside them. But people of her village find her eyes to look like those of demons, because of that she had been bullied for it though most of her life, cause of that and the dead of her mother her once red eyes full of life had turned a dull with no life in them, she started to hate the color red and her eyes. After getting a scholarship and moving to Tokyo, the bullying stopped but the effect of it isn't gone, she doesn't trust anyone and keeps mostly to herself, that changed when she met Isana Yashiro and he became her first friend, It's because of him that some of the life came back into her eyes. A big change is about to happen in Akane's life, the change is gonna make Akane see the colder red in a whole now light, and the change starts with a night on a rooftop where she saves a life. During one day she drags herself into a situation in which the Black Dog, Kuroh Yatogami, and the Homra clan are hunting down Yashiro Isana. Her selfless and reckless demeanor gets the best of her as she attempts to help him escape. During their escape the Black dog intercepts them both as Izumi tries to protect Yashiro; he bows in her presence and says that he doesn't want to get a young queen involved in the situation, as Scepter 4 says the same.
